Designed to teach ESD Control techniques for people who work on electronic equipment after it’s manufactured. This Web-based training program is targeted to those highly-skilled technicians in service centers and in the field, as well as the IT professionals who work on computers, servers and routers. This educational program explains and demonstrates the physics of ESD, ESD prevention through proper packaging and handling, static producing materials and activities, clothing considerations, personal grounding, ESD safe work areas, and ESD field service kits.
This innovative web program uses streaming video (WMV) for the Window's Media Player, and includes Review Questions with remediation to help prepare you for the Final Exam. A grade of 70% or better on the exam entitles you to a Certificate of Completion, as part of our "Training Certification" program. This certificate will be generated automatically and emailed to you, and will serve as evidence of competency for ISO training requirements.
